The takedown of Mitt Romney

In total agreement with this:

Romney has dumbed himself down to fit a Republican Party that has become anachronistic, hateful and foolish. He has never once stood up to the party's extremist base in this campaign--not even when asked whether he would accept a deficit deal with $10 in spending cuts for every $1 in new revenues, not even on immigration and contraception, issues that sent women and Latinos scurrying toward the exits. His has been a shameful, shameless campaign. The public will occasionally turn out an incumbent President, but only when offered a real alternative. Mitt Romney has offered them only a mirage.

Face it!! I only want to be President to check it off my bucket list!!

I always have asked the core question about any politician running for President. Why?

It is the "why" that has Romney in the position he is in.

This has to be one of the most compromised politicians we have witnessed in any presidential contest. He stands for everything, anything and absolutely nothing.

That is the main problem with Mitt Romney.

Panic has entrenched the Romney Campaign in Boston. A negative, boring, lack of vision campaign in Tampa netted him absolutely nothing in the polls. Even the speakers at the Republican Convention forgot what their mission was and pompously promoted themselves, not Mitt Romney. That says much right there. So, when the time came for the Democratic Convention the Boston crew watched in poll tested HORROR of the dynamic, diverse, honest, energetic Democratic Convention. Practically, every speaker had praise and confidence in President Obama, they said it often. During the Democratic Convention nothing good was said of Mitt Romney, his character was attacked, his record scoured through and the question of trust was front and center. Hell, the Democrats even clapped for former President George W. Bush and his work for aids in Africa. His own party's convention could not even utter his name.

It comes down to this, when you confront the American Public and ask for their vote, you must give specifics on policies, you must capture your vision, you must be honest and mostly, you got to relate to Joe and Joesetta Bucketlist. He is unable to do all the above because he does not know how.

Mitt Romney has lived the American Dream, the American "Rich Financial" Dream. His only focus in his life has been his church, his family and making money. While making money he never thought of the aftermath of the decisions he made, he did not care. Mitt Romney has shattered many lives, American Dreams for the bottomline, his money. This equates to a man with no conscience, one who is cold as steel.

Watching this hilarity of his campaign now only concludes to me that he will do anything, say anything, spend as much money as possible to have the keys to the oval office. Another thing, he will never be specific on any policy because he has sold that out all ready to the many millionaires and billionaires who want policy to only help THEM and no one else. He already sold his presidency to the premise that "corporations are people too".

In a phrase that Governor Deval Patrick (MA) stated during his speech in Charlotte, "He's a fine fellow and a great salesman, but as governor he was more interested in having the job than doing it."

Folks, Mitt Romney, if elected would not care if it was for ONE TERM. He only cares to check off the box for "President" on his bucket list.

The FED announcement to boost the economy is a HUGE DEAL

U.S.stocks shot up sharply in midday trading after investors cheered the Federal Reserve's move to launch a new round of steroid-like stimulus in an effort to invigorate the slow-growing economy and jumpstart a weak job market.

Heading into the closely-watched meeting the consensus on Wall Street was that the Fed would launch a third round of bond buying, an unconventional policy known as "quantitative easing," or QE, in an effort to keep interest rates low and spark more business activity, boost confidence and bolster hiring by businesses.

And the Fed delivered, announcing that it would purchase mortgage backed bonds at a rate of $40 billion per month.

The Fed's aggressive moves pretty much send the message that it will continue to assist the economy And that was met with relief by market participants, says Frank Fantozzi, president and CEO at Planned Financial Services in Cleveland, Ohio.

Believe me, the GOP does not want to hear any of this. Buying bonds at 40B a month should be a serious boost to the economy.

Expect a serious denouncement by Romney and Crew. Full story, here.

Scarborough was so upset the man was beet red through the whole exchange. Carl Bernstein did not back down on his critique of the Tea Party and how weak Romney is. Plus, Bernstein explained thoroughly how Romney is beholded to this group and why he can never tack to the middle.

Flip/Flop games of Romney on Healthcare (Video)

This is a great back and forth from Hardball with Chris Matthews. It begins with the riveting FDR 1936 take down of the Republicans.

Romney Spokesperson will not give specifics on tax loopholes (Video)

This is the main problem of the Romney/Ryan Team. They think that they can just keep talking fluff and the American public is dumb, but they are finding out that the public is not DUMB. Just look at all the polls out now!! Tara Wall, Romney Campaign Senior Adviser was horrible on MSNBC Jansing & Co. And Paul Ryan is one of the most blantant liars out there!!

More Bad News for Romney from CNN/ORC Poll

Obama up 6 with likely voters and up 8 with registered voters. This is a clear indication with all the other polling out that Mitt Romney needs to drastically change the direction of his campaign or could face a blowout in November.

In all reality, this race never felt close to me for many reason, but mainly because of a very unpopular candidate. Remember, people vote for who they like in the end and this is a clear detriment to Mitt Romney.

Read all the polling information, here.

Joe Scarborough: "Romney a flawed candidate"

And this from Mark Halperin:

Romney still has the debates, millions and millions of dollars in TV ads and weeks of campaigning to try to turn things around. But he faces the immediate threat of both quiet and loud we-told-you-so’s from Republicans who last year had the very worries they fear are being manifested now. Romney is an awkward, unlikable candidate. The author of Romneycare is ill positioned to attack Obamacare. And Romney’s shifting positions make him an easy mark for an aggressive White House.
Talk about OUCH!!!

AWWWWWW, FREAK OUT!!!!

New Memo Confirms That The Romney Camp Is Starting To Freak Out About Polls

I just HAD to go there....

As new tracking polls show President Barack Obama benefiting from a big post-convention bounce, Mitt Romney's presidential campaign is starting to sound a little bit panicky.

In a new campaign memo circulated this morning, Romney's pollster Neil Newhouse warns people not to get "too worked up about the latest polling."

Well, they SHOULD be worried, remember the RNC Chairman Priebus stated that Mitt Romney would get a SIGNIFICANT bounce from his convention. Well, we all know that did not happen after that disastrous convention. So, in all honesty with less than 60 days left, Romney Camp should be very worried. Read it all, here.

This is why Paul Ryan is full of shit.

Norah O'Donnell from CBS News on Face the Nation slammed him, every time he tried to weasel out of shit he VOTED FOR!!!!

This is why the negative attack ads will be coming to your television set, SOON...

Here's The Most Important Post-Convention Bump For Obama That Puts Him In A Great Spot For Re-Election
Yes, the Mitt Romney Campaign should be very afraid....
Obama's approval rating in Gallup now stands at 52 percent — above the 50 percent mark that usually nearly ensures re-election. Moreover, his disapproval rating has dropped to just 42 percent.

Pre-convention, Obama's approval-to-disapproval rating stood at 45 percent to 48 percent. That means it has swung 13 points during and in the aftermath of the convention.

The last time Obama was at 52 percent was during the three-day period of May 23-25, 2011.

Obama's approval rating also jumped to the same 52 percent mark in Rasmussen's daily tracking poll, while 47 percent disapprove. That compares to a 48-52 approval-to-disapproval split the day the convention started.
Folks, get ready because the ads that will run in swing states will be unfactchecked, mostly divisive, racially tinged and down right hateful.

Which means getting out the vote is more critical than ever.

The real question is how big of a bounce will Obama get after the DNC Convention?

Although the job numbers were not great, 96K created, with the unemployment number ticking downward to 8.1% it still indicates that the economy is anemic. It also indicates that the general public has gotten used to the economy trekking slowly along and though the economy is the number one issue, it is turning out to be not the only issue with voters.

The conventional wisdom was that Friday's jobs report was suppose to stomp all over the President's speech and/or the whole tenure of the Democratic Convention. That is not happening.

On Friday, we began to see reasonably clear signs that President Obama would receive some kind of bounce in the polls from the Democratic convention.

Mr. Obama had another strong day in the polls on Saturday, making further gains in each of four national tracking polls. The question now is not whether Mr. Obama will get a bounce in the polls, but how substantial it will be.
While everyone is in agreement that the economy is still very anemic, the American Public also has witnessed a vitriolic congress who has been unwilling to work to move this country forward. Mitt Romney have not helped his cause of why he should capture the White House and his Republican congress has not helped their cause as to why they should retain power in congress.

Plainly, Mitt Romney is not a strong candidate. The public has heard every flip flop from him and the dogging tax issue remains a question and mystery to many Americans. Clearly, there is a trust issue when you look at Mitt Romney. The Congressional Republicans have not helped their cause either. The continuous lack of clear leadership opened up a can of worms when their celebrity kingpin, Rush Limbaugh went after Sandra Fluke when she spoke up on behalf of women's reproductive issues. The tepid response from GOP leaders have lit an angry fire for women. Along with the Rick Santorum talk about banning birth control have led women further away from the GOP. Then let us not forget the words of Congressman Todd Akin (R-MO) who is the Republican Senate Candidate. He really said that legitimate rape victims bodies can shut down pregnancies. Legitimate? That alone has made millions of women question these crazy MEN in the Republican Party and their judgment on the concern of women's health.

Add all this in with the spectacular diverse presentation of the Democratic Convention, the public is viewing Romney and the Republicans, less and less. When you run towards the crazy rhetoric of the far right, which Romney has embraced, you will continue to exclude the very voters you need. Women, minorities, LGBT communities, students it is these very groups that the Republican Party has went after with disdain and it is these groups that will turn the Republican Party away, along with Mitt Romney in November.

Lastly, will the bump hold? Who knows, but with President Obama extending his lead and there is less than 60 days to the ballot box, this can not be good news for Mitt Romney.
